The update is out!
Tuesday, 09 June 2009

After a downright epic struggle against my cruel email overlord, detailed here , the updates for the LGS, The Dreaming, and Legacy Crossing have now been sent out.

Packed full of changes to the LGS, The Dreaming, and Legacy Crossing, this update is probably one of the most important updates in a year or more.  Check out the rest of the story below for a rough idea of what to expect.

If you don't get your copies, please let us know in the thread linked in the first sentence so that way we can be sure that everyone gets what they are entitled to.

As always, we are happy to help in whatever ways possible, just let us know.

Yes, we were at A-Kon
Monday, 01 June 2009

So somewhere the lines of communication got terribly jumbled and people were being told that we weren't there.  And the third story of the Westin wasn't listed in the program.  And that we weren't listed in the book (though our huge 1-page advertisement was, which was good).

Despite all of the above, we overcame, overtook, and generally filled out the rather spacious section of room we were in.  To those of you who showed up despite everything, brought your friends by, and commented, complimented, stayed a while and listened, or just hung out, a huge, huge thank you.

Everything said, A-Kon turned out to be a pretty successful weekend.  The room we had was never empty, and usually nearly full, with at least two, sometimes five games going at once.  That, by the way, is a lot of players, especially when the games never had less than four and often ended up with 6 to 8 people in them.

Additionally, huge thanks to TBear who ran games and pitched pitches pretty solidly all weekend, as well as the guest star, John Manning.  I never did get to hear much of what happened in either set of games, but I did hear that John got called an asshole at least 5 times in one game, which means it must have been fantastic.

Those of you who purchased books at the convention, you should receive your texts sometime today, possibly late depending on when I get access to my computer again.  Updates are in process already, and the post-convention wrap-up updates, aka  The Update, will be sent out for all three products either late Sunday or early Monday morning of next week.

Man, I had so much more to say a few hours ago when I actually started this thing.  Oh well, if it comes back then I'll just have to make a new post.  For now, stop by the forums, chat for a while, and we'll see all of you at A-Fest 09!

Casses out.

PtME at A-Kon 20
Tuesday, 26 May 2009

Yes, PtME and our coiterie will be attending A-Kon 20 this weekend, Friday May 29th through Sunday the 31st.  We've always had a good turnout at A-Kon and is where we had our start in the con circuit, so we want you all to come out and experience the hugely revamped Legacy Crossing system before it gets sent out next week.  As usual, we'll be running games from as-soon-as-we-get-there Friday to 10 PM, and 10 AM to 10 PM Saturday.

As the one-off event has morphed into tradition, we will be hosting a raid aganst the most powerful creatures in The Dreaming as well as Legacy Crossing for those who sign up early enough to prove their wits and might against, with rewards that can be used in future PtME-run games handed out at the conclusion (I swear this time.  They won't get me to shut up unless it happens.)

In addition to our usual fare, LC fans will have a chance to prove their loyalty to the deviant cause with a new, decidedly more physical addition to our inventory.  Furthermore, hardcopy purchases can and will now be printed out, fresh and without con damage, more-or-less on-demand.

Speaking of stuff in the room, it looks like we're currently scheduled to be in the Normandy Room over in the Westin.  If that changes, we will be sure to keep you up to date.

On a personal note, I'm looking forward to seeing some of you guys again, especially the ones we've had to miss at other conventions for some reason or another, the ones that have moved away, and the ones we've just plain not seen for a while.  I hope as many of you as possible are there.

That said, see you all there.

Casses out.

Oh, one last note.  I'm trying to go through and update some of the material on the site, giving permanent links to our conventions and whatnot.  If something breaks horribly, please let me know in the forums.

I'm always forgetting to update this thing.
